Rhetoric and Action matters – exemplary behavior

From last post about leadership, I not only wanted to show the negative coming from lack of good leadership, but as well what can be done – in this case related to the same incident – with morals and principles.

Texas Governor Abbott had a severe leg burn just hours before the Houston shooting, but made it a point to lead and not put himself into a distracting focal point or message.

Every life matters…

To come together – that would be the greatest rebuke to those who seek to tear us apart.

There is far more that binds us together. We see that great strength in times of tragedy, in times of great need. Whether fire or flood or the acts of depraved individuals, Texans are the first to open their hearts, their homes, their wallets to offer charity and love…

And as a side note, the mainstream media is rather slow in publishing good intents and behavior.
